I'm looking at a 2007 S2R 1000 it's completely stock. The owner dosent have the red key. From what I have read so far this should have no effect if I need to get the ECU reflashed for pipes ect?

So if not I'm screwed and should stay away from it?
How can I tell if it's disabled?

If the bike is stock, and the ecu hasn't been reflashed, then the immobilizer is still active.

When you reflash for pipes you'll have the option to disable the immobilizer making the red key unnecessary.

So I take it can be reflashed without the red key. So I shouldn't be super concerned?
