Anybody do this?

Looks like the soles are cheap ($20), don't know about installation cost.

I've had that done and all is well  [thumbsup]

The old sole should come off carefully to avoid damaging the stiff protective mid-sole (grinder, if I remember correctly)

^.   They are contracted to repair my work boots and do a great job. If you have the sole, find your local, old world shoe repair shop and they should have any problem installing it.

This is timely, the soles are finished on my otherwise-good Sidi's.

Heck there's a lot to like about your nation.

Service like that here downunder is a fantasy.

Nothing like a population over 300 million to give you access to a MASSIVE range of products and service.  [thumbsup]

So my local guy turns out to be the Sidi repair center and knew right away what issue I was having.

He said he uses a modified (by him) motocross sole as it's more durable and will last much longer.

Quoted me $90.

I may need to resole in future my vortice. Do they resole the other models?  What is the contact info for your local guy?

Don't Vortice have a replaceable sole? (the part that sits on the peg)

If it's the heel - a normal basic heel replacement?

Yes it's replaceable.  Not sure what that entails and was trying to keep your repairer # handy for future possible use.
