the indicator control should be inside the dash.  the switch just earths inputs to the dash.  check the dash connector and switchblock connector.  work out which wire is for the lh at the connector and earth it out to see what happens.

so I downloaded wiring diagram... checked the dash connector.. I connected "+" from battery to pin 7 on dash connectro, which is for left front turn signal and pin 6 for rear left and they work... then I tried to connect "-" to pin 9 which comes from turn signal switch for left side but nothing happened.. so it looks like I have damaged indicator control... can not even imagine how to solve it... If i buy external indicator control and mount it, turn signal would work, but without control light on dash... some ideas??

i put an acewell on an m400ie which involved using a motogadget indicator controller.  report is on my blog, some of it may be useful as in how to bypass the dash side of it.
