I do love the 900SS cafe racers that seem to be proliferating though! Something about that oddly shaped tank that looks great on a naked little cafe bike.

It isn't the first time 'Bass boat flake' has appeared on a Duc.

I like it.

First bike was a chopper, unless you're referring to the one the won the Monster Challenge.

Even with that Spidey's Monster is stunning in person. waytogo waytogo waytogo waytogo

1st bike: My M750CR which won the '05 Monster Challenge
2nd bike: Spidey's M1000SS pictured here
3rd bike: The SS2R 900 (black & gold bike)
4th bike: The Coup D'etat Monster Bobber (or chopper as refered above)

Just for clarification.  Grin

I'm sure there are pics on the board of these, but can we get a re-post here for convenience?  Never saw.

Isn't a true cafe racer, a bike that was probably not built for speed or performance but stripped down to it's bare essentials and modified only for performance, and within a restricted budget? I'd say find the most naked Monster you've ever seen, with only simple mods like a chopped airbox/jetting/light flywheel and there's your cafe Monster.

The Monster *is* already a cafe racer in a way...
