Can I remove the CAM Shaft Cover with oil in the bike?

Getting some bits powder coated on my 620 Dark so I'm thinking of getting the CAM Shaft cover (the one that says Ducati) done as well. I removed it once before but there was no oil in the bike at the time. I'm pretty certain it should be okay because of where it sits but I just want to make sure.

Yes.  You might lose a small amount of oil, but it'll be a few drops.  When the cam end cover is removed, prior to powdercoating, you'll have to remove the cam end bearing.  Or, you could just use some engine paint and leave the bearings in...

Yeah, I did the engine paint last time but it just doesnt look as nice as the powder coated pieces on the bike. Not sure what's involved in removing the CAM end bearings. I'll have to check the Haynes Guide.
