APTC Swap question

I know this has been discussed a hundred times but I cannot find a good resource on what stock clutches can be swapped in to replace an APTC clutch.  I have an 04 monster 620 I am at the end of a long line of owners and do not even know if it is the original motor. However one thing is clear, it has an APTC that slips like a drunk girl in heels.  So I tried the washer spacer technique which helped stem the slipping for about three hundred more miles now it is slowly coming back.

I commute 30+ miles a day and am not nice to the little Franken Duc (named such because its a monster ducati that I brought back to life)

So I have located two separate clutches one from a 01 600 and one from a 02 620. I need to know if these would be direct bolt on swaps like an 800ss clutch. Does anyone know or know where I can locate this information? Thank you in advance for the information.

Is plate replacement not an option? I had an APTC on my bike for ~20k miles with no slippage before the dry clutch conversion.  Not sure why the APTC gets such a bad rap.

AFAIK, the '02 clutch will swap right in.

It's better if you can get the mating crank gear too, they do wear 'together' over time.

If you can post up the first 4 digits of the motor number, I can confirm engine year and model.

What's the difference between the 620 clutch basket with the black fingers and the 800ss with the single offset plate at the end? Is one preferable?
M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

I'm pretty sure the black 620 basket you mention is steel, silver one with offset plate is aluminum.
