just got the dainese wave V2 neck - nice fit, very comfortable, and you can really notice the neck support - not intrusive but definately better support to prevent hyper-extension backwards of the neck. as a plus you also look like you have a f...n hot physique!
best part is im hoping to wear it and a T in summer - last summer nearly died with my jacket on [alpinestar non-leather].

2008 S2R1000 changed - spark headers and tail cut done, rizoma grips indicator lights and clutch cover titax levers, DP ECU, open filter, ...... maybe stop then............. nah think i'll add rizoma rearsets and their conical handlebar is f..hot... and then i need to get rid of those mirrors....

Looks the business, so where did you get it? (I presume that you tried it on somewhere) and what did it cost, and is there a beer belly option??

my dainese jacket has a back protector pop clipped to an inside pocket and i don't give it a second thought, wouldn't ride without it though, i don't care how hot it gets, 3 months of dressing changes daily for friction burns ain't nice. been there done that!

FWIW, I find my leather jacket much cooler that my textile in the summer. In the same breath, I've been wearing the textile to and from work for the last week... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrh
