yeah so i pulled the cover off tonight and just wanted to know if this washer (next to the clutch pack) is supposed to be bent or not?

Yes.  It would be better if you got a service manual, though.

its bent up to prevent that nut from loosening.

+1 on the factory shop manual. Good stuff. Allows you to work with much less chance of breaking parts.
