I noticed that the DU737 has 42 levels of adjustability (Rebound only).  I read that the S46DR1 line has 30 levels of rebound adjustment.

Did I get an oddball one?  The shock is brand spanking new (got it last month from Ohlins USA).  I got an initial setup done last week by Catalyst Reaction (@ Pro Italia).  Ride is awesome . Just curious.

Thanks.

According to Ohlins in NC the compression and rebound settings are combined in this shock. NC is equally enthusiast about this shock. It's no $1,800 Ohlins 3-way, but it's easily 90% there for $625 with spring for my weight. Good value and matches the OEM fork well on mine.  ;)

I was disappointed in mine. To me, it was marginally better than stock. Only plus I could see is that it looks better.

BTW, you can beat that $625 price with a few calls to the vendors.......or save yer moolah.

You've said that before..., and you were a minority of one.  ;D Was your made in China?  [roll]

$625 included installation and setup by an Ohlins tech. Might be worth it to get YOURS set up too?  8)

There you go making assumptions. It was not set up by an Ohlins tech, but rather by an Ohlins certified shop. So MINE was set up. BTW, he didn't do anything a knowledgeable rider couldn't do for himself other than having access to the various springs. So, are you implying that yours was set up by an Ohlins employee, or was he an employee of another certified Ohlins shop?

As for being a minority of one, I have no problem with that. I also have no problem understanding my right to have my own opinion. Maybe if you could grasp that concept you wouldn't feel threatened when someone differs with you. If you read my post correctly you would see that I qualified it as being personal. On the other hand, you seem to believe that your opinion should be universal. Guess what? It aint!.  [roll]

Whenever anyone installs one of these..., you seem to delight in raining on some poor kid's parade.  [roll] You don't exactly say IMO.  8)

If you have Halfsheimers (I do!), read your comments here..., and the next two pages.  ;D http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=67854.msg1254412#msg1254412

Mine was set up by Donnie Unger. If you live between Maryland and FL, when you call Ohlins in NC, they'll strongly suggest you call him for installation and setup. http://www.ducpond.com/aboutus.asp

No problem with doing that on this end.  :)
