hi guys i have a small issue with my bike.. It runs very good but some times when i am on high way full throttle it stalls at around 9000 rpm and the goes on again. i took the rpm sensor off and clean it did put a new fuel filter but it keeps doing it... not always but most of the times i go full throttle... If i insist with the throttle it stalls like two or three time continuously and then revs to the limiter... What else should i check is there anyone with the same problem...

i had some thoughts of doing that but i don't have the proper equipment. Any help there?

i just came back from my mechanic... I knew he had mathesis equipment but apparently he didn't knew him self that he had also the equipments for measuring the fuel pressure. Anyway i install the equipment properly and the fuel pump seems to work just fine with min 3.1 and actual 3.2 bars.. Right?
What else should i check ?

Around 9000 rpm? How much around? At my S2R the rev limiter kicks in around 9500 rpm, according to the instruction manual it should kick in at 9250. An s4r should have a rev limiter at 10200 afaik.
Maybe the needle of your rev counter is slower than your engine is revving up... ;D

no unfortunately this is not the case my rev lim. is at 10.400 rpm and the power picks at around 10000 so stalling at 8500 9000 is very annoying....

I would have the throttle position sensor reset.

is there anyone that has a custom pc3 map for a S4r 996 desmoquattro with open lid and full exhaust because i believe that the problems lies somewhere there... My mechanics innovator seem to be a little faulty so i believe i want to play with the fuel a little bit to see if anything changes....

Maybe i couldn't find any help on my problem but i found a solution by my self.... :D I just removed one of the two sims under the pick up sensor and now the bike is working just fine!!! :D Thanks though for your interest guys...

i thought you would have checked and reset the gap as part of your rebuild.  what's the gap now?
