I remember a pic of MM standing next to Rossi, both in gym shorts. I felt so sorry for Rossi due to the dieting he must endure at his height.

How does a contract like that get signed when MM is carrying a shoulder injury that may never recover?

I'm thinking Honda is protecting themselves.

If Marc does recover, and he isn't happy, he goes to another manufacturer and stuffs it down their throats.

If he doesn't, he'll be loyal to the mothership, and retire.

Yes.

Rossi's 5' 11" and 152 lbs.
MM is 5' 6" and 143 lbs.
AM is 5' 10" and 143 lbs.

AM and Rossi are too thin.
Crash durability is low.

Honda's pushing the whole stack of chips in.

Poor Rossi. Missing out on all that creamy pasta, veal scallopini, proscuito and Chianti.
He'll be 200 within a month of retiring, and I wouldnt blame him. Under the leathers is the hidden side of the sport.

I'm currently 10 lbs heavier and 2" taller than Rossi.
Nearly identical physique.

Dunno about him, but when I was his age I could eat as much of anything I wanted and it made no difference.
Nearly the same now.

It might be prudent for them to cancel the Thai GP.
