We lost our BMW/Ducati dealer a few years ago.  Now a new BMW dealer has moved back into the exact same location.  They are finishing out a back section of the building now that will be the new Ducati & Triumph showroom.  They are expecting bikes sometime this month.   applause

Hopefully they have new owners, management, and staff ...and not the idiots that ran the place before. However, since they are at the same old location, I'm suspect that their is some residual remaining interest of the old shop group involved.

The old shop had the worst service department that I’ve ever encountered (from failure to tighten things down ie., oil plug, brembo brake block, etc., to failure to honor warranties).  I knew it was a matter of time before the old place would close.

So yes, I've been tainted gun shy from my previous experiences dealing with them, and I'm not terribly excited to see them come back.

I will at least check them out to see if my nose hairs twitch before rendering a final determination of acceptance or rejection.

They are not the same crew, these guys have come up from Ft. Worth to open the shop.  I don't know how or why they chose to open up at the same location - I kind of wonder if BMW had some interest in the property.  That does not guarantee good service, but I've heard they have had a pretty good track record down in Texas.  Like you, time will tell.

They did not expand, but they used some of the space where they kept used bikes for the new showroom.   I'm really liking the R nine T but trying to find a lopey cam for a BMW is a fool's errand (I've been looking) lol.

I-40 W - If you look close it fronts to I-40 but you'll have to go past and take the Meridian exit. Take Meridian North to Reno then East to Hudiburg Circle and drive to the end - turn right and you are in their parking lot.  I don't think they have Ducati in yet but I've met their factory trained mechanic who moved here from Ft. Worth.

edit:  I think I saw you last summer checking out a Monster for sale - it was in the back of a pickup off of I-240 service road in a parking lot.  If that was you did you buy it?

I don't think it is Eurosport - that is where I bought my 1st Aprilia btw.  I will try to find out, but it is an existing bike shop that *I think* BMW made an offer to get their shop going again here in OKC.  The previous owners - as you can see above - made a mess of things.  A friend just bought a new '14 R1200RT there yesterday - I think he knows all the details.  He didn't buy a new bike because of the weather lol, BMW is blowing out last year's models and he couldn't resist a deal.

Stopped by today. Realy expanding that shop. Ducati gets 2nd billing on 3 stage shop. Maybe mid feb before bikes and parts/accessories are in. They are getting triumph as well.

They have encountered a 'snag'...  They already have Triumph in but BMW has decided that they want 600 more feet of showroom space - after they had agreed to the previous plan. That leaves the dealer in a bind.  They are thinking of eliminating a couple of offices to free up room to make BMW, Triumph and Ducati happy.  What a mess after already spending a chunk-o-change getting the showroom to where it is now.  They are still trying to make it happen but I expect a delay.
