A tight championship. Stoner just coming into form. Rossi leading things. Thumbelina with a broken finger. And our own little 2.238 mile slice of heaven.

I so can't wait! But, I'm also dreading it at the same time.  I "HOPE" it's not going to be TOO hot this year.

Weather is forecast in the mid 70's days & mid 50's nights. The only heat I'm concerned with is the fires. Sections of HWY 1 and Carmel Valley Road are closed due to the Indian Complex fires.

As much as I respect Rossi as a great racer I agree completely.

Well, Pedrobot might not be able to race if he undergoes surgery this week. In any event, Laguna means a lot to the championship this year, and I'm sure Stoner will be in his usual devastating form.

I would just like to note the brilliant editing here that captures each rider's particular character. Rossi, even in a get off, dances away like he's magic.

 Pedrobot, waves to the crowd upside down about to smack his boggin on tarmac at 90 MPH. A little more sense wouldn't hurt him.

And lastly, our unassuming hero and rep of Red Victory... the man of the hour and hopefully the very fastest one around the track the 20th of July and always, C. S. Gofastest.
