I've picked up a set of ST2 944cc cylinders, Pistons with rings - Horizonal cylinder part number: 125.1.029.1A - vertical cylinder part number: 125.1.030.1A.  Will these swap straight over with its 906cc cousin? Or will I need matching heads to the 944's and bore the cases?

The head appears to fit fine but I'm still learning so any and all advise appreciated  [thumbsup]

The 944 cylinder is the top left one and it also has an extra hole to the right side corner. What's that for?

it's for the coolant to flow from the cylinder to the head.

[tecate meme]I don't always retrofit inappropriate parts, but when I do, they make my Ducati faster/better/more displacement[/tecate meme]  [evil]
