For the hugger, front fender, belt covers (if May wants to keep them) chain slider, and other plastic parts check this thread out:

little bit of custom work to attach the taillight to the bike....next is a custom license plate holder right under that Smiley

and finishing out the rear of the bike, is the license plate holder.





in the first pic, it is sitting at a 90 degree....but before painting, I banged it out a bit to give the plate a little bit of an angle. looks decent enough I think Smiley

So the tail light is mounted to a bracket that's mounted to the seat? Sorry it's tough to tell on my phone. I'd worry about damaging the light when you r&r the seat or ride 2up.

kidding dude, no, they are both bolted up to the rear of the frame.

It looks like the PO chopped the bajeezus out of it. No wait, those ones had the beer tray that had the tail light mount on it. Not on the frame like the old ones, like mine.

Smoothed out the rear about as best I can....do a little more after I get the rivet holes welded up.

But what do you guys think...should I leave that angled open section open? or should I try to fill it up and then paint it? It wont be in the rain or anything. I am leaning to just leave it.
