If you were to weld in fillers, since you're patching the rivet holes and all that, might as well powdercoat the frame. I did mine. I love it.

may and I are under the weather this weekend...most been chilling in bed. Was doing some poking around on ebay, and finally found a decent 5.5 900ss wheel for a reasonable price, so I picked it up. Got a cush drive with it as well.

also...may and I are going to be visiting with her family for the next couple of weeks...so doubt any progress will be made on the bike. But I will try.

peace

Nice.

I'm back BTW, will get your goods sent out shortly. If you wanna wait a bit longer the girl and I are moving into a new house in the next couple weeks, and I bet I unearth some extra goodies for ya in the process.

can you weigh the rear wheels while they're bare and see how much heavier the 5.5 is?

Nice work so far. I'm really curious about those little swingarm buttons. Watch the area right above them once it's built and you put it on the stand.

Smoothed out the rear about as best I can....do a little more after I get the rivet holes welded up.

But what do you guys think...should I leave that angled open section open? or should I try to fill it up and then paint it? It wont be in the rain or anything. I am leaning to just leave it.

thats actually a great idea, however the brake light has integrated turn signals already, so that might look a little odd.

thanks though.
