Thanks guys!! I've teamed up with some really cool people in the last few days.

Right now working on getting some additional money for the actual trip. It's going to cost over $1600 just in entry fees.

I'm slowly getting the blog rolling. Definitely a first and interesting trying to get it set up lol. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to let me know!

My suggestion is to link the blog in your DMF signature.  waytogo

That's only allowed for sponsors.

A member can use the website section in their profile which will activate a globe under your avatar.

This is really great.  About fundraising, what about putting a Paypal donation button on your website?
Years ago some guys down in Texas went to Bonneville with an old school multi Triumph engined bike.  They sent an autographed picture of their bike and crew to anyone who donated $10 or so.

I think DP should set up a fundraising campaign for you here on the DMF.

Do you have a place  you can train and practice with long straights before you get there?  I've heard stories of people showing up with an untested machine and by the time they get it sorted, it's too late.

Not sure if Reno is any closer to the Salt Flats than Oregon, but let me know if I can help with logistics or any other support.

I thought she is a sponsor?  Monsterparts?   Not trying to be difficult and without your thankless work as a moderator the DMF would disintegrate in short order.

I took an aptitude test years ago and it said I should've been a lawyer so I can't help trying to clutch at legal technicalities, especially in support of this tremendous effort.

Tami hasn't worked for Jeff for quite some time Bob.

AFAIK she left Idaho to work for a New Mexico dealer that is not a sponsor. Not sure if she still works there or not.

OK, thanks for the info.  Maybe I should just go back to lurking and change my name to Clueless Bob.

Change your name to Question Bob! Lol!

You only asked a question. There's no harm in that!

Still, Clueless Bob is a great name!  Sounds like a John Candy movie from the 80s.

Back on point...go DucDucGoos! Blog is coming along nicely.  waytogo
