Dash grille....

Speaker grille.

Defroster vent grille?

Dashboard valence  Wink

This thingy...was hosed up from some idiot (not me for once) putting a tachometer mount through it.

I'm not a skilled enough welder to fill in those half rounds so I filled in the holes in their entirety.

Then I ground it flat, re-cut the slots and did a skim coat of filler.

I did part of the interior trim too.

I like the silver.

I can paint all this because it's at the glass shop getting the windshield and rear window put back in.

I figure I've bugged you enough.  Tongue

I still poke through your old emails before I paint anything.

So the registry is appointment only due to the covids. It's difficult to get an appointment. After hitting refresh enough times to slow down the RMV site, I managed to snag one. In Boston.

I was in one of the many Boston highway tunnels heading to the registry relying on my trusty phone GPS when it piped up "you have arrived!"

Er.....shit. I'm in the damn tunnel still.  I had left early but still managed to have only about a 10 minute buffer.

I parked and checked the GPS and it still thought I was there. So I called Paula and told her what intersection I was nearest and asked her to direct me.

Apparently I was a ways away.

Run! Runnnnnnnnnnn! Yell landmarks into the phone as I pass them to confirm the route. Sam Adams statue! City Hall! Run run run!

I came sprinting up to the RMV entrance at 4:40. Straight into my appointment.

Good thing they weren't checking temperatures.

Those suckers gave me plates.

They'll never catch me alive.  Evil

How much did they charge you to install the glass, if you don't mind me asking?

I think it came to $220.

Add another $200 to that for getting it towed there and back.

What should I be using to put up pics these days? It's about time I contribute to this thread albeit in my glacially slow build manner.

Flickr works from a laptop/desktop. Google photos sometimes works if you generate a link to the actual location from here... https://ctrlq.org/google/photos/?_ga=2.30359100.2054658367.1524554495-1970507374.1524554495
don't put them in albums. Kevin uses an app on his phone.

Pick your poison.
