Has anyone seen a radial calliper adapter for the older monsters?

I can find ones for hyabusas but that's about it.

Googles not my friend at the moment, I seem to be riding him more than the bike!  bang head

I would think the easiest way would be to do a full SBK front end conversion, which would take care of your radial calipers in the process depending on what you got...you may need a different front wheel depending on the year of your Monster and new rotors... Motowheels has S&P billet fork bottoms that will allow mounting of 100mm radial calipers but it isn't cheap, very impractical unless you have $ invested in upgrading your current forks. There are also used to be brackets available that allow one to go from 40 or 65mm centers to 100mm.

For 43mm Showas, if that's what you have...

Youre right rudemouthsky the way to go would have been a whole fork conversion, I really should have thought about this before buying new wheels, top and bottom yoke and fork upgrades.  bang head how a minor detail can have such a big influence!

Those motocorse ones do look slick! Don't think I can justify tho expense though

Maybe a custom adapter can be made?

Or just suck it up and live with the ones that fit I'm not sure if there is actually much of a difference except the bling!

Oh if you want bling, you can get some ISR's that'll go on 65mm centers...they are 4 or 6 piston monoblocks so they oughtta stop a freight train but look bad azz as well.

http://www.isr-brakes.se/products/calipers/

Complete the setup with ISR masters and built in ISR switches so you can ditch the OE switchblocks...oh yeah:

You have no idea how bad I wish I'd gotten ^that setup...I found very nice brand new old stock Brembos I couldn't resist instead (which do work great to be fair) and Brembo RCS masters.

But I'm in the same boat as you...spent a bunch of cash on new wheels and upgrading fork internals when I should have just rebuilt some SBK gold TiN'd Showas and saved a bunch of cash, plus had a world of wheel and caliper options to boot  bang head

Oh Lordy!  drool drool drool that is some bling!

I also stayed loyal to Ducati and bought the brembo billet master cylinders , you can't go wrong with them and I like how understated they look

And after doing this to my forks

And this to my wheels

I'm kicking myself harder than you can imagine!
