MORE TORQUE THAN THE 1199 PINEGALE..WHICH MEANS WHEN TESTED WITH AVERAGE RIDERS THIS BIKE DESTROYED THE 1199 BY A HALF OF SECOND PER LAP..THATS NOT EVEN A RACE AFTER ONE LAP THE DUCATI JUST DOESNT HAVE THE LOW END POWER OF THIS AMERICAN SUPERBIKE..THE CHASSIS IS MORE STABLE IN AND PUT OF THE TURNS..ON THE STREET THE BIKE HAS DUAL FANS MOUNTED UNLIKE THE DUCATI WANTING TO SAVE WEIGHT AND NOT THINK ABOUT THE RIDER HAS THE HOT AIR ON THE RIDER AND IN THE HUMIDITY THE ENGINE COOKS THE RIDER..THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BIKE INT HE WORLD ..1199..THE 1190RX IS A GOLDWING COMPARED TO DUCATIS R/D DEPARTMENT NEEDS HELP WILL SOON BE TAKING NOTES..THE EBR HAS A TALLER WINDSCREEN..MORE COMFORTABLE SEAT..COOLER COCKPIT..AND WIDER FAIRINGS..WE DONT CUT CORNERS HERE..THE EBR KILLS THIS DUCATI IN LOW END POWER IN WHICH YOU USE EVERYDAY..THE 1199 IS GUTLESS TILL 7000 RPM AND BY THEN THE RACE IS OVER..THE 1199 HAS A TAD MORE POWER UP TOP WHICH BY THEN ITS NO FRAME CHASSIS IS EVERY WHERE WITH TRYING TO HANDLE TIRE SPIN..1190RX WITH ITS SMOOTH ENGINE AND BROADER POWER BAND HAS YOU GRINNING AT THOSE WHO DONT GO AMERICAN.. WITH 0 DOWN 1.9% FINANCING OAC AND 3K LESS THAN THE PINEGALE..USA IS TAKING OVER AGAIN... ABS? -NOPE. Traction control? -NOPE. Wheelie control? -NOPE. Engine brakeing adjustable? -NOPE. Maybe. Depends on what track and whos riding. Didnt sound like an independant report to me. Without rider aides most people are slower with high hp.

There was a thread somewhere showing Buells thrown into rubbish skips after Harley pulled the pin.

Harley is an extremely corporate/political company. If they shut anyone down (whomever) it IS political. They don't operate the way a "normal" (i.e. profit driven) company would operate. (Much like GM or Fanny or Freddy, or... are you unaware..?) That aside, Mr. Buell, through fault of his own -or not- is batting 1000, yes? ..?

all the r&d dept bikes would have been scrapped. they aren't legally motorcycles, so can't be registered
