S2R800 shock length

I've taken a gamble buying a used OE ST remote reservoir shock with the intention of fitting it to my S2R800, the guy selling tells me the shock length is 305mm.
When I went to measure my own I couldn't actually reach the bike as it was in behind a few others and too much other stuff to get access, so, does anyone know the OE shock length on an S2R800?
The two most common things in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity.

As far as I know, all the Monsters with that basic frame has the same rear shock. My M800-2003 and M900-2002 both have 305 mm Öhlins shocks (DU 5034 and DU 0462, respectively).
Monster 900-2002 (sold, alive and well in the UK), 749R / 1100 HYM combo for track days, wifes / my Monster Dark 800-2003 (not entirely "Dark" anymore and a personal favourite) , 50% of 900SSie -2000 track bike for rainy days-now with tuned ST2 motor and Microtec ECU. Also parked due to having been T-boned on track.
