I there,

I recently purchased a set of woodcraft clip-ons for my 696. I pretty much worked out the entire process however, is there a way to easily line up the angle of both clip-ons so that they are at the exact same angle?

I tought about using a piece of string attached to the fuel cap and use it as a way to measure the distance between the cap and the end of the handle.

What do you think? Any easier way?

Use the triple only. The tank I not guaranteed to be centered.

I just eyeballed it. It is pretty obvious if they are not parallel with each other. The important thing is that they LOOK right from the saddle, imo.

I supposes guy could turn the forks full left and make the bars almost touch the tank then turn full right and do the same thing. Or measure like an inch and a half off of the tank or something. That's how I did it.

Again that gen monster tank covers are not precise enough to use as measuring device. But if zero rise below triple he'll be at frame level and can use that.

I do it just according to feel. However one of my arms is slightly longer than the other haha
