If you ever replace the fuel filter and want to sell the rubber holder thingy let me know it's all I'm missing to get my '93 back to absolute orginal  waytogo

Do you have a pic, Marty? I may have one for you. Is it different from the bracket/mount on the carbed 01's? (M600/750)

It was only ever used on the first of the '93 models (the models with the 888 yellow suspension linkage).  if you have one I'll owe you big time.  I have a couple of the fuel filters just can't find the rubber holder!

Ahh...unfortunately no. Just the hose clamp looking thingy.

btw, a lot of the NOS rubber I order from Italy has that ashiness as in that photo. A little tip, use a product like 303 Aerospace Protectant or Vinylex on it, moisturizes away that ash and gives it a nice deep slick black. I like Surf City Black Max rubber dressing myself, use it on my new relay holder, mudguard/subfender, terminal lug boots, belt covers, the rubber boot around the wiring of my fuel sender, etc etc. That's only if you're like me and like to lovingly fondle every little piece of your bike(s), lol.

Keep an eye on Valtermotousa's ebay auctions, that's exactly the kind of stuff he comes up with.

Wow, I really appreciate you even considering such an offer but I could never accept unless you were actually wanting to change your fuel filter setup.  I have no idea why Ducati moved the filter in the later '93's and onwards models!

Have you tried calling a couple dealers in the U.S? they can cross check inventory of every other dealer. I bet someone has one! If you have the item # lay it on me and I'll do it for ya.

BTW can these even be used on the newer carbed bikes? I just figured I'd retrofit it somehow but if the newer frames retained the clip thingy that'd be awesome because on my I.E tank I'm using for my build, there is no accommodation for the filter. If ya can Marty, please send me a few better photos of where and how it mounts.

Spike in PDX

Some of the guys on the BMW big list worked up an arrangement to get the fuel filter out of the tank for easier servicing, and I'm contemplating doing that to my bike. I had a fuel filter clog on me on my BMW K100 on the freeway between California and Oregon, I had to install a new one by the side of the road with a full tank! I have never trusted in tank filters since!

Turns out they install similar to how the relay holders do, a notch that slides onto a slim bar. There's actually a perfect home for it on my metal i.e tank. Cool. And they'll make nifty shot glass coozies lol.
