Hello to all, I'm from Venezuela, I have a Ducati hypermotard 796 2010 from a client who came to my workshop, the problem is that the client was painting the moto so he disconnected al the sensors and separated all the parts, when he finish connecting everything back again the cluster showed error "Light".

I was reading the manual and found the diagram  [coffee], it shows that the cluster controls the activation of the low light and high light; the problem is with the low light but the wires are ok and the bulb is ok too.

I was searching on google and found that the only way is to reset the code through a interface, so I tryed to download, install and use the JPDiag with a Vag COM and a EOBD programmer but i have no communication  [bang].

The diagnostic connector on the bike has 4 pins:
1- 12V +
2- GND
3- CAN Hi
4- CAN Lo

Can anyone help me to find the way to connect and erase the code please??  [bow_down] ;D

Thanks.

Do a search for JPDiag.

There's a ton of threads which will probably help.

The very latest version of JPDiag will reset the MIL but you will need a USB to OBD interface it will not work on Bluetooth. You can connect the interface to the bike socket using bridging wires that correspond to the interface. This saves all the hassle of buying a lead.

Bike  Pin   OBD Interface
1     12v         16
2     GND        4/5
3     CAN Hi     6
4     CAN Lo    14

Hope it helps.

since I know there are more Ducati bikes in Venezuela, I would recommend this,  http://m.ebay.com/itm/Socio-390-Italian-motorcycle-diagnostic-tool-/271636886471
