Will wheels from a 96 900 SS SP fit a 2000 monster? The rear is 4.5" on both bikes now.

Axle sizes are different.

What is the front and rear axle size of a 2001 Monster?

These wheels have 17mm rear and 25 mm front. Will they fit the 01 Monster?

If it has a 25mm front it should fit. The '01 Monster definitely has a 25mm front. I'm not certain about the rear....17/20...something like that.

A 96 SS had a smaller front axle...I thought... bang head

The SS bikes progressed a bit quicker than the Monsters.

Up to 98 SS had 20mm front/ 17mm rear axles. The body change in 99 brought in FI and the 65mm caliper mount forks with 25mm axle. I don't know when rear axle changed on those ones.

I don't know when rear axle changed on those ones.

SuperSports 1991 - 2007 all ran 17mm rear axles.

A 2000 Monster will also have a 17mm rear axle.
