93-99 Monster Seat fit a 2005 Monster 620?

Anyone know if a 93-99 seat will fit an 05 620?

Cut out for the tank is wrong, but it will sorta fit.

IIRC, there can be variation in the latches.

Is the way the front hooks under the tank support the same ?

The latches are way different but I've never seen the way the peg part attaches to the seat to say it couldn't be made to work.

I know after a certain year too you can lift the tank without removing the seat. I want to say I saw Uncle Mofo do that on his S4RS.

The front hooks are close enough. You can get a pin instead of the loop for the latch, you just have to know the difference. The latch is removable from the seat, unlike the newer seats.

Around here it isn't that expensive to get them recovered.

Now I'm looking at monster seats in the same year range as my 620 Dark that is 2001-2007. I notice that for some reason the 620 Dark has a different part number than other Monsters in that same year range. Not sure why they look to be the same. Anyone know why the part number is different for the dark than for example the 620ie or S2R1000 ?
