Wow...It certainly could have been worse!  I am glad you are mostly ok, and able to get back on the bike!

[laugh] Kinda.  I couldn't get on it by myself.  I had to have Stillie throw my leg over and he caught the bike when I pulled into the hot pits.

Great write-up, sorry to hear you got shook up but glad you are relatively OK, and thanks for sharing your experience.   You may have saved a life!!!  We all have the benefit of living vicariously through you, and thus we have all had this experience and should we face a similar scenario in the future we have effectively been there and we may instictively know what to do.
