He said his vision is IZ_ and it's kinda difficult to see the monitor of his computer.  In fact he just "listens" to his TV all day long.  He says he's OK and has what he needs right now.  Unfortunately, he was told not to drink or swim for awhile so he'll be at the party but will be a spectator not a participant.

When I had lasik they gave me some tinted goggles to wear around. I had it done at 7 in the morning and had clear vision by 11am. I was on the computer mere hours after the procedure.

BTW, there's nothing like the smell of singed eyeballs in the morning.
