Thanks guys, awesome suggestions guys...keep'em coming! Unfortunately I found out about the open box right after I purchased the flat K&N filter. I was thinking of a Mivv exhaust but I just may core the OEMs and maybe wrap the outer shell with one of those carbon fiber looking wrap (providing the heat doesn't melt it off) or just paint'em matte black. However, when I do end up reflashing my ECU I will keep the immobilizer (I paid too much GOT DAM money for a retrieval to just get rid of it lol).

I am on the fence about the side covers, they are CF as is the belly cover. So I may switch it up every now and then and rock different looks in that department.

The open airbox uses the flat K&N filter with the lid top cut open.

Ah I see, then I WILL have an open box Wink the reason I had said what I said was because I have seen cone filters used without a top. I'm still learning the Monster way lol Dolph

The Dremel is your new best friend. I chopped my belt covers with a dremel after dying them black to simulate the $400 Leggero belt covers. I've never had an issue with debris in the pulleys or belts and if you ask other people who actually run no belt covers debris in there isnt a real threat unless youre riding regularly on some gravel laden shitty roads. I also chopped my front fender for a shorter cafe look and my rear fender. All with the dremel. I also powder coated my monoshock spring silver as the yellow just started to bug me after a while. I also added Sport Classic white face gauges and a new gas cap.

Wow dude, that bike of yours is just dope! I will be doing that to my covers because I am sure as hell not spending no $400 in covers lol I like the cluster faces with chrome rings too. Thank you for giving me a template. As far as the cap I am a fan of the 1/4 T cap. Now the spring I like yellow, it breaks things up a bit, I had a silver spring on my R1 and wasn't a fan, it looked to me as if it was a generic spring. But on yours just looks nice, it looks like your bike is ready for a fight lol

I've seen cored stockers with some, but not all, of the internal tubes removed. Loud, but without the refined bass sound.

I've also seen completely empty stockers which then has been build like a normal exhaust, with perforated tube and packing material between the tube and outer shell. Nicer 'music' quality.
