Ok, it is official. What are some cheap mods/deletes I can start doing aside from the mirrors (I'm not too hot about them, they were included with the bike and may go up for sale soon) and the getting rid of the handlebar risers. I did get the front cover but I don't know if I'm gonna rock it or not.

That's the plan. I saw a single Termignoni shorty on a single sided swingarm Monster (now I can't find the picture) that I can not find anywhere. So then I was thinking of getting a udder delete I happen to find on fleabay and coring my OEM cans.

Ok so I got their udder eliminator. My question is the following. Has anyone gotten this eliminator and if so, does the short pipe that goes up in the middle need a gasket? I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet but I have the udder off as you can see and I want to be ready with no more time down than I already have. I did call and spoke to Jeff and he told me that I won't need it since its one piece pipe that goes to the motor but the picture they have makes me think a little.

Personally I'm a fan of Boom Tubes for the Monster. They really clean up the look of the bike and sound amazing. I'd say relocate the frame stickers under the seat, get some nice Rizoma Reservoirs and do something about the oem belt covers they're hideous. Rattle can them black or buy something aftermarket.

I dunno about Boom Tubes. Yes they're cheap but I think I rather have shorties. Now in regards to the belt covers, I think I will do just that, grab a can and go at it Wink now that was a good cheap mod.

You'll need to use the excisting gasket 8 inches down the line from the vertical cylinder.

The Termignoni "shorty" is quite rare to find. Coring the stockers, but with packing material a.s.o. will make you smile waytogo

Belt covers can be dyed with fabric dye - great results and even cheaper (search belt covers + dye)

Get rid of the side covers ..expose the trellis

Completely remove the belt covers you don't need them

cut front fender down

get rid of stock turn signals

and as someone else said remove passenger pegs

Nice looking bike ..enjoy the mod bug

Yeah definitely dye the belt covers. Where they're located the paint chips pretty easily from road debris. There's a thread on here on how to do it. I did mine and they came out great. Super easy to do as well. Michael's Craft Shops carry the dye.

Firstly, nice bike and welcome.

My humble opinion. Grin
Are you going to run an open airbox? If so, make sure to include that detail in the reflash. It provides a performance gain with most Ducatis as shown by many tuners. Have a good discussion about your reflash options.
I like the winking light of the immobilizer, looks like an alarm system. At least keep the light.
Dont chop your guard, keep it stock and buy a custom carbon guard that protects your forks from pitting. There should be something out there that grabs you.
Keeping the belt covers is good as they help keep crap out of the belt rollers. I like satin black too. I would buy custom covers before chopping the stockers.
I would keep the side covers, but thats me.

Some of the more radical exhausts may rob power, or at least be more difficult to tune and are incredibly loud. The exhaust volume may or may not be a problem where you are.

Its all personal taste I guess.

Feel free to add more carbon. Grin
