Looks like Scorpion Trail or Conti Trail Attack IIs for 120/180 for the Hyper.

What a difference in these tires. Might be the fact that I have the correct size tire now, but bumps, railroad crossings etc, and the bike is very "flickable" now. Could be just the right size tire and not the tread though. My brakes are now dragging. I road around hoping they would settle in but I think I need to mess with them or loosen everything and re tighten.

They are listed as 90%on 10% off. Front brakes were dragging a bit but fixed. Load rated well beyond the Duc loaded and speed rated for 130mph which it doesnt even get up to those speeds anyways haha. Long term mileage is unknown, but people have run these on bigger bikes such as Triumph tigers, Ktm 990's and such. Only time will tell.

He's a Maniac Doc... his exhaust getting dinged up is not even on his radar. Living through the ride on some road that goes back and forth between paved and unpaved is the primary consideration.  |

I thought of it but I dont think I am. Its pretty much the plain ghetto base model. I had a carbon belly pan that i removed. I'm keeping the front fender off and making fork guards. If i had the oil cooler, nice ohlins shocks, or an aftermarket head pipe I probably would. If i had the S4R or something I wouldnt even consider taking it off road at all haha. |

Sjaak Lucassen Has ridden sportbikes all over the world and actually prefers them to dual sport motorcycles. There's always been something appealing of doing things that go against the grain of logic. This is his R1 he had, with custom retread tires, to travel through Alaska to the Arctic ocean.  |
