wiring led turn signals

What I am wondering about is the polarity of the wiring. I am installing some new stuff on the back of my bike, and the wires to the led plate light are both the same color, suggesting to me that it doesn't matter which goes to ground.  I have led turn signals that do not need a resistor, so does it matter which wire from them goes to ground?
As this is an Italian bike the wire colors change according to the amount of wine drank at lunch.
Thanks for any insight into this matter!

LED will only work one way.

You'll need to test them on a battery, or test-fit the wiring in-situ.

In any case, test before making permanent connections.

Thank's a bunch! I will do some testing on the plate lights.
