Looking for help with a tank bracket

I haven't been posting much (at all) lately, but making an effort this year to make a little more time to get on my bike.  About a year out of the loop on the tank fixes out there.

My tank was never a huge issues, but has continued to expand to the point that i can no longer latch it.  I am FULLY aware of all the issues, have read every post, participated in the lawsuit etc.   
Spending several days getting to a dealer and dealing with that is not the cards for me (family, job, etc.).   Just need a solution that doesn't involve a 75 mile round trip drive to a dealership...

Is there a place that I can just buy (or get free) a bracket that buys me some space?

Can you post a picture of the bracket?  I could possibly make what you need, send a picture.  If its not to difficult, just pay postage.

You can purchase the updated bracket from a dealer via internet or phone.
