As much as I like the classic look of the round light on the front of my bike, I am curious to see some options.

I know one person has a KTM duke headlight and another person had something like cyclops somthingorother...?
I also love the one that looks like its from a 999 but is really some custom bit from a lambo...

can we see some pics here?

thanks!

A few images I have on file. The last one is mine. The headlight was inspired by a bike of Norm's but I've since gone back to the stock lamp, as well as many other changes since that pic.

Thats an Acerbis "Cyclops" headlight.  I've had the same light for about 2yrs or so now and trying to figure out how to wire in an HID kit, anyone done it?  Help....  thanks.   I keep blowing fuses!

cyclops headlamp is great until you need to see in the dark!
I had one fitted for about a year, but does not put out enough light for me.I am old, blind and live way out in the boonies where there are no streetlights.Went back to the stock light, but looking for something different that puts out light, without going HID .

Which fuse do you blow, and how do you have it set up? All you need is an H3 HID bulb, a ballast w/ignitor (built in preferably)  plug and play. That cyclops headlight looks awesome, just wish it was a bit bigger.

i keep blowing the 7.5 fuse....i think its the headlight, tail, turn sig one.... (ugh, i should have remembered which one...it was the second from the top after the big 30amp blue one... it was a 7.5.  ugh, bad memory!

i have it wired up the only way it would wire up.... connected all the wires to each other the way they should.

i tried grounding the hid through the frame, through the headlight housing and directly off the neg on the battery and still blew that fuse....  its a the 55k kit but i don't think that should matter as i'm only running either the low or hight at a time not together.

adding a pic to this thread.  replaced my Acerbis Cyclops with a KTM SuperDuke unit (cr: Brownwhale).  The KTM is loads brighter than both the stock light or the Acerbis.  Wiring was pretty much straight across.
