That was fan-fu*kn-tastic!
Big props to Iannone; saw the gull, put his head down, took the hit, and IIRC, didn't lose a place.
And it was in between Lukey Heights and MG.
Really Stellar!

Oh, and I kept an eye on Iannone's Duc, and never did see where the rockets were mounted.
That thing was wicked.
The helicopter footage from Gardner Straight was astonishing.
It's like it had a 7th gear; click, RRRRRrrrrrraaaawwwww, SEE-YA!

Great race, unbelievable that it was so close at the end.
Rossi, at 35, may be starting to feel his age this deep into the season - I know I was exhausted just watching after lap 6!
What's up with Fox Sports? They must have left their producer home, cause they ran only one commercial durign the race - and that was 30-minutes in. A very refreshing change!

That Ducati blew the paint off the Yamaha and Honda on the straight, staggering!
I had to have a couple of beers to calm my nerves. What a race!

Hands down best race this year.
I am so pisssssssed that one of my favs Ianone beat my #1 fav Rossi. GRRRRRRR
Glad atleast 93 won it from 99 with few corners left.
Don't like 99. He was complaining that Ianone used his slipstream to get 2nd place qualifying. Ofcourse after the race, because Ianone helped him by pushing Rossi, he is all friends and smiley with him. He is just a complainer! Last race, he complained that he could have won if the wet conditions had stayed. IMHO, he does NOT have sportsmanship character. I HOPE HOPE HOPE he doesn't take the championship!!!!

I think after that bird strike Ianonne needs to get rid of that target graphic. Looks like the bird was aiming for it.

That pass by Crazy Joe on Rossi and Marquez with 3-4 laps to go was amazing and about as ballsy a move as I've ever seen.

There's a reason Rossi dubbed him the 'Maniac'.
Probably wishes he hadn't encouraged him right about now.
