He's too pretty?

I actually like the kid. That mess with Rossi was actually Rossi's fault, regardless of what the fanboys think. There were no complaints from them when he was banging with Jorghey. The kid has the killer instinct that was desperately needed in MotoGP and if he can survive the fanboy linchin, he should be a good candidate as the face of MotoGP.

Still would prefer to see a Ducati rider (any Ducati) on the top step of the podium.

...because I don't like motorcycle racing?

...because I'm a Rossi fanboy?

Those are the only reasons I can think someone wouldn't like him. He's made GP watchable the last couple seasons. He's also the best rider to come along since Rossi.

.... because he can do this, and I can't.*

*Totally not true, I like him because he's about the only guy that does it.

I liked him just fine up to the Incident.  Now I must say that my opinion of Rossi has dropped a bit and I think he should have handled himself much better but 93 is a little batshit liar.  Marquez should have just stepped up and said something like "Look he was make the beast with two backsing with me and said untrue things. I don't take that shit from him or anyone else so I show him. You think I play with you, that I make the beast with two backs with you, shit I'll show you something old man. So he push me and I push back, maybe a little too hard and it happen I go down"

Something like that, maybe a little less colorful language, maybe more colorful. But not some crap like he kick me & I go down. Oddly I'm beginning to like Pedrosa more than the other three now.

He is a refreshing little shit. I'm glad he is in GP.

I'm also glad he is on the Honda and isn't completely dominating the field.

Ain't gonna happen pal.  He'll be glued to that HRC/Repsol seat for years.   Grin

I like MM, I just don't like what happened over the last 3 races . I think he and Rossi should have punched each other off the track and then both raced to win. I believe MM did not mess with Lorenzo and did with Rossi with intent to affect the championship but not for Lorenzo but for himself. He will never be the GOAT if Rossi keeps winning championships.

I know people have written off Rossi for a while now, but I just don't see him winning another championship unless we see another mess of injuries. He is very consistent, but simply not the fastest guy out there anymore   Sad

Hayden showed us consistency not just speed can win championships. I believe Rossi had a real shot at it this year minus the MM Effect (trademarked)

I wouldn't ever count Rossi out. He'll need help in the form of the other aliens struggling, but he's always close to or on the podium and he rarely crashes.

I think the issue between him and MM is over. They no longer like each other, but I think they'll just race.

he's a bull in a china shop.  he expects people to get out of his way and doesn't afford the same treatment to others.  he's dangerous to those around him because he has poor decision making skills (albeit better recently).  he reminds of simoncelli and we know how well that style of racing worked out for him.

and.  his mouth is too big for his face.  he looks like a southpark canadian.
