Anyone else still smoke?  I don't unless I'm out, maybe once in a while in the backyard.  It's banned in the house.

I am a Dunhill man.  I always liked them, too bad I can't get them from yesmoke.ch anymore.  Some ppl make fun of the Dunhills, but they are British, and you really can't say the Brits are pansies like the French are.  They're not cowboys, but they sure have kicked a lot of ass over the years, natty teeth and all.

Regular cigs are $10/pack in NYC now, lots of people quitting.  Does anyone with a full set of teeth smoke anymore?

This is the honest to god truth: the only reason I didn't take up smoking in college is because it would have cut into my drinking money. I was poor and choose my vices and self-destruction carefully. +1 for lungs and -1 for liver.

Also, I love the comedy of Bill Hicks (most people probably know it through the smoking bits that Dennis Leary stole)

Also, my now wife quit smoking about two weeks after we started dating. Apparently making out with me is waaaaaay better.  [thumbsup]

So, um yeah, I don't smoke. Never have. But I have been drinking this afternoon. In case you couldn't tell.

Funny this thread comes up.  I smoke camel filters and I have a bet with my friend to quit.  It starts tonight at midnight and whoever breaks first owes the other $100.  :-\

I smoke like a chimney.

Had someone tell me I'd be dead by 50 if I kept smoking... I smiled and took a puff.

It's my ticket to the afterlife.

I solve my problems like an adult, at the strip club drinking on a work night.

That goes withoput saying. I've worked in cabinet shops and construction for a fair portion of my working life and I have never known a painter or finisher NOT to be a chain smoker. Huff fumes all day and I guess you guys go into withdrawl if you don't have a butt five minutes after leaving the booth.

Ever see a small Cambodian man spraying lacquer with a lit cigarette in his mouth? I have. This is the same guy that would start the grill at lunch time by throwing a a rag sopping wet full of xylene on top of the coals.

Good times.

I smoked for 12 years and I smoked Dunhills most of that time (the burgandy box as I called it).  Of course, that comes from the fact that my father smokes like a chimney and is British so he always smoked dunhills (or silk cuts a few times).  Much better than Marlboros or Camels IMO.  Thankfully though, I quit for the last time 1.5 years ago.

Yeah, I smoke.

Started with Camel Turkish Gold, went to Camel Filters, then Parliment Lights, then Camel Turkish Silvers.

Then I smoked a menthol.
And that other stuff taste like shit now.

I can't really smoke anything besides the Dunhill red (or burgundy).  I can puff on a Camel light now and then, but there really is a huge difference in flavour.

It's sort of like booze, once you taste really good stuff you can't drink the cheapo stuff much.

I don't smoke more than a pack a month, usually less.  I can't justify it.  But I do love the taste with a drink...

I have all my teeth and smoke.

Started on camel lights.

When I lived in Ireland, I smoked John Player's (blue box) and rolled my own cigarettes. When I went to France and Amsterdam, I brought back dunhills, but in a regular cigarette pack and the box was white, with a red label.

I smoke Marlboro lights or ultra lights now. Or if a cigarette company is giving away free smokes at a bar, I'll smoke those.

make the beast with two backs, someone gave me a pack of salem 100's on sunday, smoked those.

I can never get into 100's -- or soft packs for that matter.
Really, who actually gets a soft pack? And if you do, why the make the beast with two backs?

I find that if I have 100's, I don't smoke as much..............

but then again, you are taking in more cigarette, but on the flipside, you arent spending as much.
