Picked this up today, I've always wanted one even tho I'm too tall & too old to ride it, I love it & it's joining my family of Monsters.  Pictured here with my June 1993 Monster & classic Mini  Grin

I started to type that and then thought about some of the Bimotas and MV Agustas that've been made and decided the 916 doesn't own sole possession of that title.

It's amongst some pretty elite company though!

Most of those came from Tamburini anyway...it was just timing.

The 916 was 'the one' IMO.

I would give up at least two out of three of my Ducati's for a 916 SPS.  That looks a lovely bike.

Okay so why do I have a desire to see the mini with a tow hitch pulling those two Ducati's?

Beautiful bikes, even if you are not able to ride it.
It will always be a bike worth looking at.
