Hello. I'm new to this board but think I'll be spending a lot of time around here lol.

My first question is: can I use silencers for/from an EFI M600/750/900 on my carbed '96 M900? In other words, is the exhaust the same size/shape with the exception of O2 holes(which I would plug)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Exhaust cans/mufflers will interchange between those models.
Many of the IE cans have cats in them, best not to use those on a carbureted motor.

800 and under are the same header, 900 is a bit bigger as the cylinders are taller.

I have a '94 m900 with silencers I can't identify. Once warmed up, I like (a lot) the sound, but that warm up for a minute or so full choke is not good for the neighbors in the morning and the co-workers in the evening. In the pre dawn my solution is to coast down to  the first intersection which is a nice noisy street and take my time for a good warm up, but in the evening is a bit awkward at the office when I crank it up. People have a pretty good attitude but it is going to wear. (New to the forum and can't seem to attach photo of my monster to show the silencers.)

any suggestion of silencer systems and San Francisco resources for installation would be appreciated.

I just bought a pair of Marving cans off an M750. I checked out Marving website and they should work.

Thanks!

thanks for the advice on attaching pics. Here it is. Still interested in lowering the roar a bit, but I  appreciate the sentiments

Those look a little like Danmoto exhaust.... If so, maybe https://www.dan-moto.com/DM_INT/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=18_104&zenid=2gv8ccio2uei263oahj2m19vs5
