Rare item, not my ad but I've bought an ECU from this guy to go with these exact sort of headers before. Perfect shipping even from Italy... thought I'd give you guys a heads up. These are hard to find.

We appreciate the heads up for the members.

This post would be better in the ACC & Mods section though as it isn't your item to sell, and it would be seen by more people.

Doesn't look like there's any slip joint between the header and pipes.  Is that

There's 3 slip joints; front, rear, and about 1/3 aft from the front.

These would be the part that should uncork the top end of the S4 motor?

I have never been impressed with Termi's quality (I bought a bike that had a full system installed by the PO).  For a little more than the price of a full Termi setup, you could probably get Stradafab to make a custom ti system.

More or less, yes.

This doesn't show it directly, but it does compare an ST4 with S4.
Engines are same except wide ratio trans in the ST, and 50mm exhaust on the ST vs 45mm on the S4.
The S4 handles the ST by a big margin up to 8800 rpm.

Seems like it's robbing Peter and his whole family just to buy Paul a nice dinner.

The big pipes may, when combined with other other mods, really make a difference.

Would modified ST4 pipes work better? Brad tried them iirc. He mentions it in the article. They appear to help top end power without the midrange loss?

I wager they'd be much the same.

These headers are a direct fit, and a bit more handsome than ST.
