For those that go and read here also, it was brought to my attention by the management at Rhodeside an issue that I bring to you folks. He came to me becausee I am so outgoing and seem to know everyone, so that was where he was thinking it would be a good point to bring it forward to us. We are regulars and we do provide a decent level of business, but are not the sole patrons of the establishment. As much as the staff there like and know us, there is only a certain level of crap they can let us get away with. It seems we do have a tendancy to be a little bit on the rambunctious side with our throttles in revelry. There are people that enjoy the "al fresco" dining experience there, whom are not a part of our group or are  not motorcycle enthusiasts. When we tend to be exuberant in noise level overall, it only adds fire to the flame to annoy others that we add that kind of sound track. We are allowed to carouse and do alot of other things and management has only asked us to curb a small bit of our behavior. So in short as well as with other things they have asked us in the past, let us please be courteous to the management and other patrons by NOT revving the crap out of our bikes for no reason. It is understood upon startup and as we pull in and so forth, but otherwise is kind of frowned upon.

Point taken.  While a dry clutch can sound terrific I can appreciate how it could serve to annoy a person dining al fresco 15 feet from the motorcycle.

I will also refrain from revving my bicycle engine next time I ride there!

He remembered you from last week.  [cheeky]

Maybe we should occupy all the tables, so as to elminate the problem for others.  [laugh]

           zooom,
While he was talking to you, did he say whether it was the loud pipes or loud clothing that was most obnoxious? I really crack myself up sometimes, honest.

Guilty and point taken. Although I would note that over the last 2 years there is much more noise going up the road than we have ever created. But realize the patrons would expect them to have some level on control over other guests vs drivers/riders going up the public street. I should have the M900 back next week from it's 30K service and the S2R won't be my ride of choice for the rest of the summer so I won't be tempted. - Gene

I over heard it, it was 'That guy in the wife beaters' that the manager was upset about...

Great meeting everybody last week - Gene, Zoom, Ted, Genuous, George, Ronald, Jimmy, Gerald, Richard, and now I'm just naming ex-presidents.  Much fun - though I think I lost my left eardrum when Gene stated his crowdpleaser.  But think of all the money I'll save on earplugs!!!  Woohoo!

And I think I'm the only one with stock pipes.  But the above is duly noted.  Hope to see you all again soon.

Nah, there's a handful of stock pipers out there.  Perhaps a minority - but you're not the only-lonely
