Hasn't arrived yet, though I think I now have another problem: Being able to secure it so I can tighten everything up, I don't have any used 48 tooth clutch plates :o

Working on it right now..I can't  clutch basket out. It seems stuck, I was under the impression that once the bolts were off it would just slide out. Took a little more finessing and it came out. Got everything assembled ok but now I have no clutch pressure. A real bummer as today is the last nice day for awhile.

Refit the pressure plate. It is most likey not fitted correctly. It needs to seat fully to engage the teeth of the drum/hub. It seats with a wiggle and firm push.
Check your work. ;)

I'll try that thanks, I also found a thread where someone had the same problem and they had to remove pressure plate and then clutch slave bleed and refit. Probably not a bad idea at this point since my clutch fluid is black...

Edit: Bled and changed clutch fluid started like a champ! Couldn't ride that day because of rain. Got ready with brother to go out today and...dead battery or so I thought. It would weakly try to start and then gasp. So I put the battery on a charger. Full charge same freaking thing. Since it started once with the new clutch I'm thinking that's not the problem. What now? This is a fairly new lithium.

if it's a Gel or AGM battery read up on the charging method (or google )... i had the same problem only to find out a traditional charger can totally kill your battery :(
a trickle charger is a must particularly during colder weather

and good luck with the clutch, that's my current issue :(
