I don't get it

Exactly. I watched over a dozen of those videos and one thing was consistent: Rider Error.

So many of them crashed after dragging hard parts. That was caused by improper body positioning. So many of them were counter-leaning. Getting their bike low, but leaning to the opposite side...

If you run at 10/10ths anywhere you're going to crash eventually.
