i hope he causes and accident and someone then sues the crap about of his parents.

I'm sorry, but holding a toy radar gun is not criminal, nor is it vigilante. He is not shooting pellets at drivers or worse. If they are locking up their brakes and were to get in an accident, then it would be because they realized they were being an ass.

From the story, it isn't a case of a few mph, but double the limit in a neighborhood. Now imagine yourself pulling out for work, and the dangers you would face because of these reckless drivers.

I've got to wonder though how a court would regard a lawsuit; especially given the story in the sidebar that says the police are loaning radar guns to citizens elsewhere in the country. That said, you don't have to have much of a case at all to march into civil court, and even frivolous suits are no fun for the object of them.

Speed humps? GOD I make the beast with two backsING HATE SPEED HUMPS! you might as well post hte speed limit as 5mph. everyone seems to think their suspension will blow up if thye go ove a speed hump at anything over 1mph.

What I think is bs is that people are going through there at double+ the limit, and if 70% of the residents agree to the humps, they still have to pay 1/2 the cost. WTF?
