I have a 2004 S4R which came with a PCIII. I have never had the bike dyno'd (had it for 5 years now). Well I recently visited a shop in Newport Beach, recommended by the Ducati dealership, only to find out that California prohibits shops from installing and tuning PCs on street bikes; this can only be done on track bikes.  >:(

So.... does anyone know of a shop in the south OC area that would do this for a street bike? Or, does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can get this thing dialed in.

Thanks!
George

You should call all the Dynojet shops in your region. I guess some shops will do it but you have to take responsibility for the mods as they need to say you said it was for track use. I bet that goes for a lot of places around the world. Gotta be rider onus or many shops will not do it.
Or go interstate.
Some people have luck with canned maps off the Dynojet library or maps purchased on line and downloaded into their Powercommander.
It depends not only on the technical regulations but enforcement regimes which vary state to state in many countries including my own.
I'll leave it at that to not cross the forum rules on politics.

SBK Corse in Laguna Hills did a full dyno tune on my S2R1000 with PCIII.
