It sure is. I can't quite tell who's in charge, but it's astounding how well they're able to keep pretty good dimensions and impressively round with just eyeballs and a couple of forklifts.  And even in the video you posted from Sweden, there's a huge amount of the work that is regulated not by the machine, but by a very skilled craftsperson. That notching step was damned impressive, that you could be notching top and bottom simultaneously by eye on that big a cylinder AND THEN HAVE EVERYTHING MEET UP PERFECTLY! |
