It's been a while since I've been in the high desert, but even out on the east coast I'm still a hooligan at heart!

I have not visited this board in forever, but, after moving from NY & settling in here on the Gulf Coast of Florida, I'm itching to get back to Albuquerque, see my friends & do some riding. Barbara & I will probably spend the entire month of April out there, perhaps 5 weeks. I would like to take about a week mid-April to take a wandering ride to Austin, TX & back.

I'd love suggestions on a route that avoids the Interstates & is a little more scenic. Either going or coming, I intend to stop in Ft. Worth & visit a friend.

Of course, if anyone else is interested in the ride, let's talk.

Hiya Punx!  It has been forever for me, too. Pete emailed me that he wants to get the SOCO DOGs fired up again so I posted on that board and thought I'd check in here, too. While I'm at it maybe I'll see if anything is happening on the Oklahoma board. Is your Monster rolling? Mine is good, just not seeing as much road time as it used to. My fault, but am determined to explore northeastern Oklahoma this year. Heard there are some twisties over there. Not like NM or CO, but I'll take what I can get.

Is it still rolling?Huh? C'mon, you know that bike won't die no matter how bad I beat it up...

Just reflashed the ECU last night... new rear brake master a week ago... new clutch a week before that.
