Hi guys, Ive fitted new colsibro valve guides to my 1997 M750 heads. Now need to take both heads to the engineers to get the guides reamed and the valve seats cut.
My question is ... What should the guide to valve clearance be ?? ... Ive asked the guide supplier for tolerances and got the following, interesting, answer "we prefer to check the clearance by feel they dont want to be tight and they dont want to have sideways movement"  Huh? ... Think if I tell my engineer that he might laugh.

Ask your engineer what clearance he'd use if you didn't know.  Wink
