So where can I go to ride around here? I remember I dumped my monster one time out by Cook's Corner once but I don't remember where that was. Anyone wanna remind me? Anywhere else that's better to go?

Oh yeah, anywhere interesting I can take my girl? The only things I've really found are an Ikea, Target, and Mitsuwa.  cheeky

Take her to Wild Rivers & have her do the BAzooka Bowl....... It's like a GIANT toilet bowl........ 80 foot chute that emptis into a big bowl you fly around & then you fall out upside down into a 9 foot pool Shocked

Don't worry my 6 year old daughter loves it Cool

Thanks for the website link. Dunno why I didn't just google it. Should be second nature nowadays.  Roll Eyes Turns out today is "Women who ride day." and they're having a fundraiser for breast cancer or something like that. I think I'll be heading out there for brunch/lunch depending on whether or not I get lost.  Wink How much you wanna bet we'll be the only asian people there.  Roll Eyes cheeky

I have a buddy who's a beginner rider and I've been taking him on a loop south through santiago, live oak, then down to crown valley, PCH, up PCH for a while, sometimes turn around, back down PCH then up 55 to home.  It's good coming the other way too.  down PCH to crown valley, antonio, RSM, live oak, santiago.

Another route I like, but less local, is to go out to long beach, across the bridges, then down to palos verdes drive along the coast.  I can draw up a route map if you want.

I've also been going out carbon canyon, cut through Chino Hills, down 71 to 91 west, off at Gypsum, south to santa ana canyon, then along there for a while over to lincoln.  Can cut across on serrano too which is a nice road without a lot of cross traffic.

Hmm... this may be 2 freeway exits further (Bristol? Is that technically Irvine?) but you could take your girl to the Anti-Mall (the Lab/The Camp) as an alternative to South Coast Plaza. Smiley

or you can take a little ride and go over to Azusa in west Covina or go for a longer ride and go to idyllwild with me this Sunday.. it's a really nice ride over there but will probably take over and hour to get there.

I know azusa relatively well. I grew up in Upland and my dad used to ride all over the area so he showed me a lotta the roads around there. It's a bit far though.
