Hi! ;)
What do you think? Why on Ducati Monster 900 with dry clutch installed rubber gasket?

The gasket is to prevent abrasive road grit from getting into the works - yeah, I know, everybody wants an exposed clutch so they can look and sound super cool  [roll]
2000 Monster Dark 900 ie   Stock except for low Staintunes and a centrestand. 15:39 sprockets make for excellent highway gearing

but abrasive road grit not prevent in clutch without gasket I think... Without gasket clutch cover also sits tight...

The gasket was also to keep the stock tin cover from resonating.

There are also spacers built in to the gasket to prevent the springs from contacting the cover.
